5 out of 5 stars Great bouncer for child and parent   July 21, 2010
slsmith1101
Our day care workers had this item for their daughter / granddaughter and recommended it to us. It was not available in our area stores so amazon was the only place i could find it. It is wonderful!! This infant seat/bouncy chairs sets up high. The baby really likes this because when we are sitting on the couch, in a chair, or at the dinner talbe, she is at a level with us and seems to feel included and happy. She is not down lower but at the same level and this makes a difference to the little ones. Also, the storage space underneath the seat is great if you are keeping this in one particular area. That way, when you need diapers, wipes, toys, etc., they are right there at your convenience and not strolled all over the room.

5 out of 5 stars Best baby seat ever   March 8, 2010
Cindi Brown (Michigan)
This is the best baby seat I have ever used. Our baby loves it, it is so soft and cozy. I love the fact that it sits off the floor and had storage underneath. The baby loves it because he is more eye to eye height wise and there is no fear of toddlers tripping over him like they might in the conventional lower style baby seats. Wouldn't trade it for any other seat on the market.

5 out of 5 stars Love this Bouncer!   February 8, 2010
Linda Hines (WORCESTER, MA, US)
We bought this bouncer as one of the gifts we purchased for our new grandson. He absolutely loves it. The second we put him in it, he's asleep within minutes. This bouncer is very soothing for babies and is a must have. Also, it is very nicely made, soft & cushioney, with very nice material. I also love the fact that it is higher off the floor, much easier. The only down fall to this bouncer, and it made my daughter a little nervous, is the toy that attaches to it. It is very low. However, it does come off quite easily and can be replaced with another toy as we have done. Amazon sells Tiny Love products that are arched shaped, as the one that originally came with this bouncer. Their products are very colorful and babies love them. I might add if you do consider a Tiny Love product, Amazon has the best prices! Highly recommend this infant seat by Bright Starts.

5 out of 5 stars The Best Seat Yet - After 4 Kids!   December 19, 2009
Scott Asher
My wife and I have had four of these now and this one is by far the best for two very important reasons: the storage under the seat and the height of the chair. I had no idea how helpful it would be to have the diapers, wipes and clothes / blankets readily available, yet put away, right under the chair. I don't know about you but prior to this all our stuff ended up in piles on the couch. The height of the chair allows for easy rocking and easy viewing of our baby from nearly every vantage point. I don't know why this wasn't thought of before!

The only down sides to this chair are the weak sound and controls. The controls aren't clear that you need to push twice to get the chair to vibrate or that you have to have the top lever moved to work at all. This info is probably in the book but I think these things should be obvious out of the box. The sounds are generic and not as soothing as some I've heard, especially the music, which sound cheap.

Those are minor issues when compared to how much better this chair is than all the others we've tried. Highly recommended!

5 out of 5 stars Great Infant Seat   June 29, 2009
lrene (Bellingham, WA)
This infant seat has been wonderful! We like this seat for many reasons:

-This sits baby up off the ground with his tush about couch-height. This is great for us because we have animals and don't want them over-loving the baby.

-The height of the seat is also ideal for face-to-face time. We place our son in his seat and face him right towards us so we can talk to him. He smiles and coos. Our baby loves watch his 6-year-old brother while he plays video games.

-There are four recline positions so we can continue to use this seat as baby grows. Our little one is 8 weeks and we have it on the second lowest setting which is a moderate sit, but we often lower it to flat and let our little guys take afternoon naps in it.

-Baby is cradled in the seat which is wonderful! Our little guy never wants to be put down but this seat he allows since he is very snug in it and it probably feels similar to being held.

-The fabric is soft and neutral colors so it fits in with our living room decor. Since this chair will be in our living room for the next year we didn't want an eyesore.

-Our little one doesn't really like the vibration but the music on this is really nice. It isn't tinny or hokey like so many baby toys are. I enjoy the music and there are two volumes. There is also a white noise sound that works well when we first get started on a nap.

-This seat doesn't actually bounce, it will rock though and that was better for our baby anyway. He is very fussy and we wanted something that would help us soothe him (especially in the evenings...he's sitting in it right now). You can rock the seat with a hand or there are kickstands on the front and back and you can use your foot on these to rock the seat as well.

-We don't use the underneath basket (because our dog eats everything) but it is a nice size that would hold a blanket, a pack of diapers, and wipes if we chose.

-We aren't using the toy bar right now because our little fuss pot only likes people for entertainment but when we do get it out we will change the toys to something more eye-catching for baby. The toys that came with it are neutral, one color, but very soft so we will use them for tummy time since the soft fabric will appeal.

-This was also pretty simple to set up...took me ten minutes while holding the baby.

The downfalls of this seat are that it doesn't bounce (but we didn't want that anyway) and it is big so it would not be easy to take it with you when visiting.
