Floor Mat is a Must! July 31, 2010

We bought the cabana for our trip to Maui. It was a lifesaver! The floor mat is definitely a necessity because it was soft enough to be comfortable for our baby. We brought it to the pool or beach every morning and our 6 month old was happy to take all his naps in the cabana, including his afternoon nap which is two hours long! He would lay in there with toys and play for hours and still be protected from the sun. Even in the direct sunlight, it stayed cool inside because the breeze could blow through easily. Our vacation would not have been the same without this tent and floor mat- it allowed my husband and I to relax by the pool or at the beach and eat lunch, have a drink, read a book, etc. and he was sleeping soundly or playing right beside us. Since we've been home, I've brought the tent to a local pool and set it up so he could nap while I hung out with friends. Even on hard concrete, this floor mat is soft. I can pull it out of the tent and use it at home for a soft surface anywhere.
