Fun toy; wish the seat were lower September 3, 2010 Qwerty Jackson (Greenville, SC) I bought this for my son a month ago when he was 5 months old. He's in the 75th percentile for height but his legs were (and are still) not long enough to get the thing to move the way it was advertised. I can understand it not working correctly for a smaller/shorter child, but in theory our son should have fit it better. I was surprised that there was not a way to lower the seat any more than there is. My point is that there will probably be a very small window when he is a) able to maneuver the chair around the base, and b) under the recommended safe weight limit of 25 pounds! But I'm giving it 4 stars because this toy holds his attention and he really enjoys being in it. I'm planning to ignore the weight limit anyway (within reason).
okay toy - big size - toys are a little boring August 30, 2010 Lindsey Rose (Chicago, IL) Takes up a lot of space, which is okay, but even bigger than an exersaucer...the little piano is fun, but the rest of the toys are boring, my toddler doesnt like to play at all with it and my 8 month old gets bored after about 8 minutes....If I could do it over again I would get a stationary bouncer one!
Awesome activity center and very entertaining!!! August 23, 2010 Eric We purchased this for our 5-month old son based on the positive reviews on Amazon. We were a little skeptical at first because he wasn't able to fully stand in it and move around, but he seemed to enjoy the banging on the piano keys, tugging/pulling at the other attachments, and could easily spin the seat around to view whatever he wanted. Flash forward four weeks and I do not know what we would do without this activity station. Our son absolutely loves everything about this item and is now even figuring out the added benefits of being able to walk around in it. The piano is pretty friggin awesome and he now knows how to turn the "music sheets" to play different sounds and tunes. The long flexible attachments are turning out to be great teething toys as well and the others seem to keep his attention pretty well. The greatest attributes of this toy are that it is light-weight, compact and it keeps our little busy body pre-occupied for at least 20 - 45 minutes at time which is almost border-line miracle status! Words can not accurately explain how much this thing has helped with the development of our baby as well as help maintain our sanity and assisted in freeing our hands to get things done around the house. I know that everyone's baby is different but this activity center is about as close to perfection as one can expect in a toy.
Highly recommend it August 19, 2010 eljoukanda This is one of the best items I got for my baby...He is super active 6 months old who gets bored in a matter of 15 seconds from anything. This activity center gets him busy for at least a couple of minutes while I wash the dishes or prepare food. He beats the heck out of the activities, moves and screams when anything moves in it and laugh. It is awesome.
The only negative point is that it locks, so he can't go 360 degrees continuous...which could be a good part because if he does, then he will be all over the place...another downside is that the four rubber pieces don't seam to connect on the bottom so my baby moves everywhere even though the base does not have wheels.
Overall great item for super smart and active babies.
A MUST FOR ALL PARENTS!! August 16, 2010 J Castrorao (Southern California) I bought this for my first Granddaughter when she was a baby about 3 years ago. She loved it. Her baby sister is now using it. Then I bought this as a baby shower gift for a friend. Their son loved it. Then they bought this for their friends, and so on, and so on. I know at least 7 babies that have used this and they all loved it. It's great before they start walking, then the seat comes off so they can use it as an activity center once they become walkers. My son takes it apart all the time and they haven't had any issues of it being easy to put back together. I have a baby shower for a friend at the end of this month and I will be purchasing this again.
Buy this - you will love it!!!
